Introduction

Science and Technology is part of our daily lives now. Without Science and Technology, the world will be a difficult world to live in. It is necessary for a single individual to understand Science and Technology and how it impacts our daily lives and that it help ones goal become achievable.

Every school curriculum anywhere in the world includes Science and Technology. The subjects can be challenging to normal students but easy for fast learners. It is more challenging to Special Needs Students as it deals with number of branches and complex knowledge which leads to succession to folds and folds of information.

If a differentiated instruction for Science and Technology will be applied by every school in the Cayman Islands, there might be an impact on the performance to Special Needs Students especially to those who are interested in studying Science and Technology related in the future.

Description

Standard curriculum is applied to every school in the Cayman Islands. Delivering lessons and achieving success across the board is dependent on the teacher and the learner. As number of SEN students have been identified, it is of a necessity that teachers are to use differentiated instructions especially in Science and Technology subjects for the SEN learners to also achieve success. If instructions are differentiated for these type of students, I believe we will witness more success on these type of students.
